Spelling Bee

I was pleasantly surprised when Josette said she wanted to participate in Tulita's Spelling Bee hosted by "Score". She was one of 7 in her class to sign up. She did FANTASTIC and made it to the 2nd round. Once again, we are so proud of her!

We were invited to Olivia's 6th birthday at Lucky Strikes. The girls had a "ball"!

Annie

Today was a very special day for us. Josette and I spent the day in Hollywood at the Kodak Theatre to see the Musical Annie. What a fabulous time we had. We shopped, took pictures with characters and enjoyed the show. This was her first time at the theater and I know it will be the first of many. She was such a little lady the whole day! As the curtain rose, I got emotional watching my daughter look on with excitement. I can't wait to share this with Gigi and Jessie too. Jeff spent the day with Gigi at the movies, while Gene spent the day with Jessie watching football. Days like these shared with your angel make you really appreciate being a MOM. I love it!

Our weekend routine always includes a walk to the beach and village. Since Christmas, Josie rides her new bike every chance she gets.

Goodbye 2008!

As we say goodbye to another year and start a new, I am thankful for my family, friends, good health and so much love. This year has been filled with many beautiful memories as well as the sad loss of my wonderful Grandfathers, Grandpa Lang and Grandpa Furnare. I think about them often and know we will be reunited someday in heaven. As I watch my 3 munchkins grow, I am proud of the sweet young girls they are becoming. Without Jeff all of this would not be possible, I am thankful for my handsome husband and loving & attentive father that he is. Here's to a healthy and happy 2009!
