As I was getting ready to go out, the girls decided to get dolled up with makeup and high heels. Josette told me today that when she grows up she wants to be "A makeup artist, fashion designer and veterinarian." She did Gigi's hair and makeup as well as her own, then they put on their dress up clothes. They were still in their costumes when we got home at midnight... asleep on the couch with Grandpa Gene.
This is the 3rd time we've seen her. Started with dinner at a great little Italian place on Melrose called All' Angelo. This restaurant is a hidden gem. Small, romantic and the food melts in your mouth. Then off to the Kodak. It was fun... not AS funny as the previous 2 shows, but she ALWAYS makes you laugh bagging on celebrities. I LOVE date nights with my husband!!!!
Grandma Lang surprised Josette and her class as the mystery reader. Each week her teacher picks someone to come in and read a book at the end of class. She brought and read her own book "Grandma on Wheels" and passed out treats to all. It was a fun day for everyone!
The girls spent the afternoon with Princess Belle getting their faces painted and running around with their friends at Shawn and Angie's house. It was great to see my girls Ang, Jaime and Jessica! Happy Birthday Isabella!
T-R-O-U-B-L-E, with a capital T. Anything smaller than a cantaloupe will end up in her mouth. Yesterday it was 2 pennies. Luckily they didn't go down easy and she upchucked them along with her lunch all over Mommy. Thank you God for watching over us. I'll take the barf over a 911 call anyday!
