The Arrival Of Our First And Only Son... VAN GENE LEWIS

He came into this world on the morning of July 12, 2010 at 8:59am. He weighed 7lbs and was 18 inches long. We arrived at the hospital the night before with consistent contractions 5 minutes apart. My labor lasted all night. Dr. Noel arrived in the morning and our little boy arrived shortly there after. Thankfully he was HEALTHY! For 9 months we waited and waited for this day and are thrilled he has joined our Lewis family. Baby Van Gene Lewis was greeted by his sisters and grandparents later that afternoon. Josette, Gigi and Jessie Joy were over the moon meeting him for the first time. The first day they spent 4 hours in my hospital room loving and holding him. Jeff stayed with me every night helping to take care of me and the baby. Throughout the next couple days we had many visitors and got accustomed to having our little guy at home. It is now day 6 and he is changing everyday. Our family is perfect and complete! This group of 6 is ready to start again with our new addition. Thank you LORD for giving us this special gift!

4th of July Camping at the Blaka's

Jeff and George pitched tents in the backyard and spent the night with the girls under the stars for their first camping experience. Sherry and I had the luxury of warm and cozy beds inside as I am about a week from popping. The next day on the 4th we enjoyed the sun and pool then feasted on crab legs, kielbasa and bbq chicken. George's cooking is amazing!!! We watched fireworks on our drive home from the Valley to the Beach. It was a perfect weekend!

Swim Fun At The Blaka's

Our first summer BBQ at the Blaka's. The perfect day for relaxing in the sun, jumping on the trampoline and cooling off in the pool. It was a funfilled and relaxing day as the kids played all day, the guys watched the World Cup and Sherry and I visited while counting down to Baby Vans arrival.

Jeff's 44th Birthday

Happy Birthday to my husband! We celebrated with cinnamon rolls and presents in the morning. Then Dad went off to work, the girls and I enjoyed a school picnic for Josette's last day, then off to dinner at the Chart House with Ginny and Gene and Grandma Lang and Steve. Candles and cake and ice cream at the end of the night at our house. We love you!!!
