The girls stayed the night with Ginny and Gene. Jeff and I and Van enjoyed a quiet dinner at the Riviera. That is while taking phone calls from the girls. They've learned how to speed dial our number on Gene's phone. The girls LOVE slumber parties with their Grandparents and it's SO nice to wake up to a quiet house... once in a while!
Aunt Ann, Uncle Mark and the Girls came down to meet Baby Van. We haven't seen them in a while so it was such a treat to spend time with Carrie, Krista, Constance and Claire. The girls are growing up so fast and starting school this week. We had a picnic at the Malaga Cove Library and had a wonderful time catching up.
Jeff received the unfortunate news that his Grandmother, Margaret Walls, passed away in Delaware and decided to fly back with the girls to attend her services. They all, along with Ginny, left on a Monday and arrived to Lewes just in time. They stayed with Aunt Christy and spent the week visiting and catching up with family. The girls met Jeff's Uncle Buddy and Uncle Warren and his family. They spent time on the farm, running around on the beach and a fun filled night at FUNLAND. The girls were thrilled to see and play with cousins Abby and Shelby. The week flew by with not enough time to do and see everything. They had a great time! Van and I stayed back and enjoyed some quiet time and a quick overnight stay with Sherry. All of a sudden it was Sunday and I was driving to the airport to pick them up.
