OMG! We had the best time!!!!! Off we went to the Big Island of Hawaii for the perfect, most relaxing spring break ever. Ginny and Gene booked a house at the Islands in the Mauna Lani Resort. It was the perfect location for our family (well, minus little Van who stayed with Aunt Cathy for the week). The girls were thrilled to ride first class in a limo to the airport. Our week in Hawaii was filled with lot's of swimming, sun and fun. Everyday we would make our way to the pool for swimming and snorkeling. Josette is very competent in the pool and Jessie is right behind her. Gigi loves the water and is challenging herself to go under. Jeff worked a lot with the girls teaching them how to swim and we all had fun splashing and playing in the water. We also spent time at the Beach Club where the girls loved collecting shells and digging in the sand. Everyday I would check in with Aunt Cathy to make sure Van was alright and everyday she would send pictures of his adventures with the Cordas cousins. Raquel and the boys took great care of him... strolling, swinging, playing and taking him to hockey games. I was assured he was well taken care of and wish we could have stayed longer. It was just a nice week for us to connect, laugh and enjoy each other. I hope we can make Hawaii a yearly tradition. It is beautiful and serene and the perfect place for my Nani family.
