This was the first year that we were actually here to participate in the big Avenue C 4th of July block party. We enjoyed visiting with friends at the margarita mix, cotton candy, snow cones, egg races, hula hooping contest, jumpers and the chili contest. At dusk, Jeff took the girls down to the beach to watch fireworks from the Pier and the annual barge in PV.
We like to visit the library about once a week to check out books and video's. The girls signed up for the summer reading program and receive patches when they read a certain amount per week. Jane joined us on the lawn for lunch on this picture perfect day. 
What a special treat for us to spend the day with Jaime and her girls. Sophia, Bella, Rubi and Lilah came down for some play time at the house and beach. The girls had a ball together and I had the best time visiting with my friend. It's always a good time with my Jaime!
One day at the fair just wasn't enough, so we went back the next day with the Fragoso girls!
It's not easy braving a big and crowded venue with 8 kids and 2 adults. We did it, we survived and had a fun time!!!
There was no shortage of love to show on Dad's Birthday. The girls dragged him out of bed to shower him with love and gifts. Then it was off to work he went. Grandma Lang came down for the day and brought Krista, Constance and Claire. They spent the day with us and then stayed with the girls so I could take Jeff out for a beautiful dinner at Mar'sel at Terranea. The restaurant is gorgeous and delish! We had the perfect evening!!! Happy Birthday Husband!
Judy and Jane took us all out to Ruby's to celebrate Jeff's Birthday. We always have the best time, spending time with our special friends who are like family!
