It's a little girls dream... to have lunch at the American Girl Cafe at The Grove in LA. The girls took their dolls, given to them by Abby and Jaime, and spent the afternoon having lunch and tea with Dad and Grandma Lang. The 2 story LA store is amazing. They have every doll, every outfit and every accessory you can imagine. We had a blast!
Every year Grandpa has a summer BBQ and every year we have a good time! It's always fun spending time with cousins, grilling hamburgers and hotdogs and swimming in the pool until your eyes burn. Even Van got in with Dad and enjoyed the hot summer heat and cool water on his skin. Josette has mastered swimming this year, Jessie is pretty confident in the water and Gigi is trying, trying, trying.
Christy flew down from Delaware for a long weekend to attend the Palos Verdes High School Reunion. We joined her for a get together for all Malaga Cove Alumni at the school. It was a beautiful day for the kids to play while Christy and Jeff caught up with some old friends. This was also our last days with Abby. We've enjoyed our month long visit and have many fun memories with her to remember the summer of 2011.
Sea World was more fun than we imagined. Loved the Shamu and Dolphin shows, and loved getting soaked in the rapids. We had a great day in San Diego and hope to go back one day soon!
