Father's Day

The kids insisted on making Dad breakfast in bed, so they whipped up some eggs, bacon and english muffins for the king of our house.  We then gave him his gifts, Raquel and Jonah joined as they had a sleepover the night before.  My kids think Jeff is the GREATEST Dad in the World and they're right.  He is loving, caring, devoted, patient and supportive.  He would do anything for his kids and always leads them in the right direction.  He takes time to explain, to discipline, to play and to teach.  He also has fun in the water, in the snow, on the skateboard and listening to music.  Today we honor Jeff and all the wonderful Fathers and Grandfathers in our life... Thank you Gene, Grandpa Lang, Grandpa Bill and Great Grandpa Furnare and Pop Pop in Heaven.  Happy Father's Day!

Kindergarten Graduation

 

As we end the year in Kindergarten we reflect on Gigi's academic growth and personal success throughout the year.  She started the year shy and a little unsure of herself.  Throughout the year  I've watched her grow from needing help with her homework to doing it independently.  She went from speaking softly in front of her class to writing stories at home and proudly sharing them with her classmates.  With her beautiful smile and dimples she has made many friends.  Gigi has such a kind and caring heart.  She is a good listener and loves her teachers Mrs. Nitsiotis and Mrs. Estrada.  We were overjoyed when we found out Gigi was selected to receive the Principals Award.  One student from each grade is selected every year for being an all around good student and Josette has received it 3 years in a row.  We are so proud of Gigi and happy to see her start her elementary years with such success and joy.  We love you Gigi!

Town & Country Olympics

 

Jessie Joy graduated from Preschool today!  Town & Country celebrates the occasion with Olympics.  The day is filled with song and games as family and friends gather to watch and cheer these enthusiastic 5 year olds.  This year was a special one for Jessie... in Ms. Sharon's class she hung out with her friends and explored the beautiful grounds of PV bringing treasures home everyday.  She has a love for life, nature, animals and adventure.  Jessie brings joy and spunk to our family with her smile and fun personality.  She is independent, strong and loving.  We're so proud of you and happy to see you grow into such a smart and beautiful girl!  We love you to the moon and back Little Miss Jess!

Awards Ceremony

Josette was honored today with awards in good citizenship and 100% homework.  She always does her best and excels in everything she does.  Josette constantly sets a great example for her sisters.  She is sweet and caring and as I've been told, every teachers dream.  Great job this year Josette our #1 daughter and we are ALWAYS so proud of you!!!  XO

Park Day

 

The entire 3rd grade had their last field trip today at El Retiro Park. 

Beach Day

 

Today was a special family beach day to celebrate the end of the year in Gigi's Kindergarten class.  Jeff went along with Gigi and Jessie.

Spring Sing

Josette was cute as she sang cheerful songs with her 3rd grade friends.  Gigi and Jessie were singing along too as they knew the words from weeks of Josette practicing at home.  Dinner followed with Grandparents to celebrate the night.
