Yosemite!

We really enjoyed our week in Yosemite with Ginny and Gene.  We stayed 4 nights at the Tenaya Lodge.  We hiked through the Mariposa grove of giant sequoias ending at the breathtaking grizzly giant. 

 

Had a lovely dinner at the Wawona Hotel.

Took a train ride and panned for gold.

Little ice cream breaks at the pool.

Had fun at the Old West Summerdale BBQ... we even sang on stage with the band.

More Yosemite!

We also loved the Yosemite Valley open air tram tour.  We saw up close and personal some of Yosemite's most famous sightseeing points such as Yosemite Falls, Half Dome, El Capitan, Tunnel View and Bridalveil Falls.  Our park ranger described in detail the history, geology, plant and animal life of the region.

Redondo Fair

It's time for the annual Village Fair.  We went down for a couple hours of rides, games, music and ice cream!

Dinner With My CSULB Girls

It's been soooo long, too long since I've seen my college friends!  We met for dinner at The Camp and I loved every second catching up and laughing with these fun girls.  It was great to see Melissa, Roni, Trista, Kat, Lynn and Dana!  Can't wait to do it again!
