Mother's Day

Had a great day celebrating Mother's Day!  The kids spoiled me with homemade cards and pictures... my favorite kind!  I cried tears of joy in Church watching my girls sing. Then they took me to dinner with Ginny and Gene to Avenue Italy.  I'm grateful for my happy healthy family, my beautiful mother and mother-in-law.  I appreciate and am thankful for my beautiful life!

Fieldtrip To The Farmer's Market

I joined Van's kindergarten class for a bus ride and afternoon at the Torrance Farmer's Market.  We loved tasting strawberries, blood oranges, pumpkin seeds and honey sticks.  We ended the day playing on the jungle gym.  I love hanging with fun 5 year olds!

ps... Van had his 1st kiss on the bus ride home.  Kyla planted one on his forehead :)

Balboa Bay Club With Friends

A much needed mini escape to The Balboa Bay Club was just what the doctor ordered... especially for Sherry.  She's been under a lot of stress and grief so it was nice to whisk her away from it all for a night with friends.  Thanks to Angie for organizing and putting it all together.  Friends Forever!  They're always there for you... through life's most meaningful moments!

Chapman University Field Trip

Daddy chaperoned Gigi's 4th grade field trip to Chapman University in Orange.  They learned a lot about the many courses and activities on this beautiful campus.  They also ran into our friend Alec Cohen.  Super fun day!

Hunter Mann

Heaven received an angel!  Last week we lost our beautiful friend Hunter Mann.  She was our 10 year old, funny, sweet, happy, loving and wonderful friend.  She battled cystic fibrosis her entire life and accepted every challenge with a smile on her face.  She taught us to be brave, accepting, loving and appreciative.  We remember Lily's dress up birthday when she reluctantly let her sister doll her up with a dress and make-up.  We remember swimming, playing, BBQing and laughing! We remember her love of Spongebob and everything tie dye.   We will always remember the fun times we had and all the special memories with our dear friend.  We love you Hunter!!!
