We received a phone call from Josette's teacher, Mrs. Sato, inviting us to the awards ceremony because Josette was chosen "Student of the Year" for the entire 1st grade at Tulita. Only 1 child per grade receives this award each year. Our eyes filled with tears of joy watching the principal hand her the award. She had no idea it was her name that was going to be called. We couldn't be more proud of our angel Josette. Time and time again she has proven to be a special girl. She makes good choices and uses her beautiful heart and mind to set a perfect example for others. What a wonderful way to end a wonderful year of school. Summer here we come!!!!
