Happy Birthday to my husband! We celebrated with cinnamon rolls and presents in the morning. Then Dad went off to work, the girls and I enjoyed a school picnic for Josette's last day, then off to dinner at the Chart House with Ginny and Gene and Grandma Lang and Steve. Candles and cake and ice cream at the end of the night at our house. We love you!!!
We received a phone call from Josette's teacher, Mrs. Sato, inviting us to the awards ceremony because Josette was chosen "Student of the Year" for the entire 1st grade at Tulita. Only 1 child per grade receives this award each year. Our eyes filled with tears of joy watching the principal hand her the award. She had no idea it was her name that was going to be called. We couldn't be more proud of our angel Josette. Time and time again she has proven to be a special girl. She makes good choices and uses her beautiful heart and mind to set a perfect example for others. What a wonderful way to end a wonderful year of school. Summer here we come!!!!
We have the best DAD in the world, so 1st thing Sunday morning the girls jumped in bed with us to shower him with gifts. They waited all week for this day. Gigi made him a special rock and picture frame, Josette made him a scrap book and Jessie gave him beautiful pictures of the 2 of them. Later that night we met up with Ginny and Gene for some Mexican food and cupcakes. I know Jeff feels like the luckiest Dad in the world! We are so lucky to have a loving, caring, sweet and gorgeous man in our lives!!!!
It was a Friday night in Riverside as I watched Uncle Matt walk Kristyn down the aisle to marry the man of her dreams. She looked gorgeous as did her entire wedding party. Even though I feel like I'm about to pop, with only 4 more weeks until I deliver, I had a nice time visiting with family and watching beautiful Kristyn have the time of her life. So great to see Uncle Matt, Kathy, Denise, Bryce and Little Anna!
