Thanksgiving

This was one of the best Thanksgivings ever. I think we all feel so grateful and thankful for our wonderful family and friends and each year just seems to get better and better. I love watching the kids have fun with their cousins. And there is nothing like spending quality time with family over a feast of delicious food. The house is filled with lots of loud chatter and love and laughing all day. Brother Joe's speech to us all was the MOST special moment of the day. I am so grateful for him and his sincere beautiful words.

Milo the Class Pet

Gigi brought home Milo and took care of him for 1 night. The next day Miss Kathy read all about her adventure to her classmates.

Family Picture Day

It was a perfect day to take our yearly pics for the Christmas card. This year we're featuring our new addition, baby Van. Our setting was the Malaga Cove Library and fortunately we got through it pain free. It's getting a little more challenging trying to get 6 people to look and smile at the same time, but we did it! These are a few of the pics I took. We then had a nice Mexican dinner on top of the hill.

Puzzle Day

Field Trip

I was lucky enough to spend the whole day with Josette on her walking field trip to "Wilderness Park." I can't believe I've never been to this hidden treasure just blocks from our house. We spent the day on a photo scavenger hunt, preparing and performing a skit, eating a picnic lunch and hanging by the pond watching and feeding the ducks. I was in charge of my own group of 5 kids and we had a blast exploring the naturally beautiful and vast land.
